He completed his schooling in 1961 and graduated in Gujarati and Sanskrit (Bachelor) in 1965.
He passed Master of Arts in 1967 and did doctoral studies to obtain Doctor of Philosophy in 1973. After joining Bachelor College in Modasa in 1965, he moved to Ta Lunavada College in 1967 from where he retired as a Professor. Darji"s first book was "Whooping", an anthology published in 1973.
This was followed by several books and is credited with 113 books
Vibrations (1976), Carvana (1976), Dayarama (1978) and Pratyagra (1978) are some of his known works. He received Kumar Suvarna Chandrak in 2011.
