Career
Mauro kicked off his career with local club Atlético Goianense in 2010. He then joined Gil Vicente of Portugal before signing for Braga Bachelor in the Segunda Liga. He made his debut against Benfica B.
His performance for the reserve team impressed manager Jorge Paixao, who promoted Mauro to the first team
Mauro played the full 90 minutes in a Union of European Football Associations Europa League match against CS Pandurii.
