Maxie Kunie Esho is an American professional basketball player for the Iowa Energy of the National Basketball Association Development League.
Education
Esho attended Doctor Henry A. Wise, Junior. High School where he averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game before moving to Lee Academy. Esho attended UMass for four years.
He finished his career with 1,019 points (t-44th at UMass), 132 games played (5th) and a 50.2 FG percentage (12th) while having 40 double-figure scoring games, seven double-figure rebounding games and three double-doubles.
Career
He played college basketball for the University of Massachusetts. After going undrafted in the 2015 National Basketball Association draft, Esho joined the Westchester Knicks of the National Basketball Association Development League on November 2, 2015 after a successful tryout. However, he was later waived by the Knicks on November 11 prior to the start of the regular season.
On December 11, he was acquired by the Iowa Energy, making his debut that same night on a 107–110 loss against the Canton Charge.
