As of February 2014 Hammond has played two first-class cricket matches and two list A matches for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. Hammond has played a number of matches for the England Under-19 cricket team Hammond spent the 2014 season playing for Home Counties club side Aston Rowant cricket club, near his home in Oxfordshire.
