Mazur was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Ruby Mazur, an illustrator known for creating the "tongue" logo for the Rolling Stones, and working in the record industry as a former manager of Billy Joel.
Mazur began modeling and acting in her teens. One of her most well-known ad campaigns are the three television commercials for Gap she did with director Adam Daelay in 1999: "Everybody in Cords", "Everybody in Leather" and "Everybody in Vests". She has also appeared in several television shows, including Computer Society of India: Miami, Cold Case, Jack & Jill, Strange World, Chuck, Rizzoli & Isles, and Party of Five.
Mazur joined the cast of NCIS: Los Angeles, playing Natalie Buccola (name in the actual screening changed to Natalie Giordano), a confident secret service agent who"s taken with Chris O"Donnell"s character, Callen.
The role is potentially recurring, and she made her first appearance on the NCIS spinoff in episode 6.
