Career
After finishing youth age at the youth system of Maccabi Tel Aviv, Roth has signed with Hapoel Be"eri of the third-tier Liga Artzit. After one year at the third-tier, Moran has played three seasons on the second-tier Liga Leumit - one with his hometown team Maccabi Ashdod and two with Elitzur Ramla. His performance at the second league earned him his first Israeli Premier League contract with Associate of Science Ramat Hasharon.
He has signed with Maccabi Rishon LeZion for the 2005-2006 season and has finished with the team in third place.
Moran has split the 2006-2007 season between Hapoel Galil Elyon and Ironi Ramat Gan. In the next season, Moran has been a key player in the sensation championship winning team Hapoel Holon, which ended a 14 consecutive championships by Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In That season Moran has passed 4.6 assists per game. After the sensation championship Roth has signed a contract with the traditional second-best team in Israel Hapoel Jerusalem.
The player has split ways with Hapoel Jerusalem just after one season, signing with Elitzur Ashkelon for the 2009-2010 Season.
On June 2010, Roth has returned to Hapoel Holon, signing a 2-year contract. Roth has averaged a then career highs of 13.5 points and 5.9 assists which earned him a place in the All-Bachelor of Science in Law First Team, although his team finished only in 7th place and failed in the quarterfinals. The second year of his contract has been more successful on the team level, finishing third.
Moran has led the league in assists with 7.95 per game and also had finished two games with 15 assists.
After two good seasons with Hapoel Holon, Roth has signed a 3-year contract with Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv. Roth has parted ways with Maccabi Tel Aviv after only one year due to lack of playing minutes.
Moran has signed with holding champions Maccabi Haifa as a replacement to Gal Mekel who moved to the National Basketball Association.
