Career
Born in Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto District, Pinto emerged through local Boavista Football Club"s youth ranks. Whilst under contract he spent two seasons on loan in the lower leagues, including 2007-2008 with Communicative Disorders Trofense in the second division, starting in all the games he appeared in and scoring two goals as the club promoted to the top level for the first time ever. In the 2008 summer Pinto signed for Communicative Disorders Nacional, appearing in only seven league matches in his first year (12 overall) with the Madeira side.
He was more regularly played in the following campaigns.
On 28 December 2011 Pinto completed a move to PFC Levski Sofia in Bulgaria, for an undisclosed free. From January 2014 to June 2015 he also competed abroad, with South Carolina Tavriya Simferopol (Ukraine) and Football Club Astra Giurgiu (Romania).
Pinto returned to Portugal on 3 July 2015, signing a two-year deal with Vitória de Setúbal.
