Career
He also holds a French passport and spent most of his playing career at the French club Sochaux-Montbéliard. Born in Dakar, Daf began playing football with United States Goréest At age 17, a Belgian football scout, Karel Brokken, recruited him to Belgian Second Division side K.V.C. Westerlo, where he began his professional career.
A year later, he joined French side Thonon Football Club before embarking on a 12-year spell with Football Club Sochaux-Montbéliard in 1997.
On 4 August 2009, Daf moved to Ligue 2 team Stade Brestois and three years later, rejoined Sochaux.
