Career
She skips her own team that represented of Korea in the 2012-2013 season and the 2014-2015 season. Kim"s early international experience includes silver medals in three straight Pacific-Asia Junior Curling Championships. In 2010 she lost in the final to China"s Liu Jinli, in 2011 she lost to Japan"s Sayaka Yoshimura, and in 2012 she lost to Yoshimura again.
This gave her team the right to represent of Korea at the 2012 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships.
At the event, her team finished in third place after having lost to Japan"s Satsuki Fujisawa in the semi-final. However, in the final, her team lost a close game to China"s Liu Sijia, narrowly missing a berth to the 2015 World Women"s Curling Championship.
Kim graduated from Uiseong Girls" High School, which has produced many talented curlers in educational cooperation with the Uiseong Curling Center. She also graduated from Daegu University.
