Born in Prague in 1979, she is the daughter of a Czechoslovakian mother and Syrian director Michel Issa.

In 1993, she studied at the Prague Conservatory, graduating in 1997.
She is the cousin of actress Martha Issová. In 1985, at the age of six, she started taking drama lessons. She continued to act in the school theatre for another two years while studying pedagogy.
Issova has appeared in many movies, television serials and plays.
Her notable film appearances are in Indian Summer (1995), The Mists of Avalon (2001), Frank Herbert"s Children of Dune (2003), and She also played a short role in the movie The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008).
In 2000, for the movie Angel Exit she shaved her head completely onscreen and went bald. Her noteworthy television appearances are in Number Problem (1997), Joan of Arc (1999), Anne Frank: The Whole Story (2001), and Operace Silver A (2007).
Her stage credits include in Shots in Broadway and Private Eye.
