Ella Kovacs is a retired Romanian middle distance runner of Hungarian descent.
Career
She finished 6th at the 1992 Olympics. 800 metres - 1:55.68 (1985)
1000 metres - 2:32.40 (1993).
Achievements
In 1985 she won the European Indoor Championships, and ran 800 metres in 1:55.68 in June. She would achieve prominence on the world scene in 1991, when she won bronze medals in the World Championships indoor and outdoor.
