His style of playing mostly centers on legato, sweep picking, and he sometimes uses two-handed tapping to play extremely fast shreds. In 1996 his song "Industrial Type Thang" was featured in Japan Synthetic Rubber Corporation Records" compilation Hottest Unknown Guitarists. He is also brother of Johan Niemann.
