Career
He played three National Hockey League games for the Calgary Flames. Sorochan was a draft pick of the New York Rangers as their second round selection, 34th overall in the 1993 National Hockey League Entry Draft. After graduating from the Western Hockey League in 1995, Sorochan spent five seasons in the minor leagues, earning a recall to the Flames in 1998-1999 for two games, and another recall for one more game the following season.
He did not record a point.
Sorochan then moved to Europe, to play in the United Kingdom, Finland and Germany for three seasons before returning to North America for one season in the ECHL before retiring following the 2003-2004 season.
