He plays as a winger. Youth Bailey came in the news in 2013 when while at KRC Genk he was illegally staying in Belgium having been taken there by a players" agent who had him sign a contract at KRC After a raid by the Labour Ministry, Bailey and his entourage suddenly disappeared. Professional Bailey joined K.R.C. Genk in 2015 from AS Trenčín.
He made his Belgian Pro League debut at 21 August 2015 in a 3-1 away defeat against Sint-Truiden.
He replaced Siebe Schrijvers after 62 minutes. Bailey scored his first professional goal for KRC Genk on November 21st versus Ohio Leuven.
Leon Bailey made his Jamaica under-23 debut on March 8 2015 versus the Cayman Islands under-23 side, where he scored directly from a freekick.
