Career
Radio Bird currently presents the Friday and Saturday evening shows on Radio X. She has also previously contributed to Capital Radio, Virgin Radio, and British Broadcasting Corporation Three Counties Radio. In 2010 she presented a series of radio documentaries about independent record labels entitled "Independents Day". She presented on XFM from 2007 until 2015, when the station rebranded as Radio X. Bird presents a weekly podcast entitled Geek Chic"s Weird Science which was selected as iTunes Best of 2014.
Television Theatre and television Bird has also worked as an actress in various productions, including Fiddler on the Roof at The Lyric Theatre, Boom-bang-a-bang at the Etcetera Theatre, and The Christmas Cock-up at The Cockpit Theatre.
In 2009, Bird set up a theatrical production company called Bird & Be. Their first production was a run of Orlando Wells" The Tin Horizon at Theatre 503, which received positive reviews from critics.
In 2013, she co-produced Orlando Wells" adaption of Patrick Hamilton"s The Duke in Darkness, which ran from April 16 to May 11 at the Tabard Theatre. Bird has appeared in episodes of Noel Fielding"s Luxury Comedy Series 1 and 2.
