Career
Ordained to the priesthood in 1954, Conti was named titular archbishop of Gratiana in 1975. He then served as nuncio in Malta, Libya, Turkey, Honduras, Ecuador, Turkmenistan, Haiti and Kuwait. Conti retired in 2003.
