As a native of Edmonton and Vancouver, she practiced figure skating two hours before and after school each day. She appeared in the feature films Forbidden Love, with Andrew McCarthy and Richard Chamberlain, and Arbitrage, opposite Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon.
