Mason was a right-handed batsman. Mason made a single first-class appearance for Kent against Yorkshire at Headingley in the 1900 County Championship. He batted once in this match, scoring a single run in Kent"s first-innings, before being dismissed by Schofield Haigh, with the match ending in a draw.
He later played for Berkshire in the Minor Counties Championship, making a single appearance in 1905 against Monmouthshire.
He was later a legal partner at Amery-Parkes and Company with four other people, however this partnership in its then structure was dissolved in December 1914 following the retirement of a partner. This firm though continued under a different structure.
He died at Wallington, Surrey on 8 February 1938. Another brother, Charles, also played first-class cricket.
