Wojciechowski was dismissed from his Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe (Polish Peasant Party) party following his decision to leave the EPP for the Union for Europe of the Nations European Union parliamentary grouping. He ran on the Law and Justice list in the 2009 election, despite not being a party member. In November 2010, he joined Law and Justice.

2016: became famous when suggested on his blog to arrest the chairman of Polish Constitutional Tribunal for not following instructions from Mr. Wojciechowski"s mother political party.
Wojciechowski was a Member of the Bureau of the European People"s Party (EPP) from 2004-2006 and is vice-chair of the European Parliament"s Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development. Wojciechowski is a substitute for the Committee on Budgetary Control and a member of the Delegation to the European Union-Kazakhstan, European Union-Kyrgyzstan and European Union-Uzbekistan Parliamentary Cooperation Committees, and for relations with Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Mongolia. 1993-1995, 2001-2004: Member of Parliament of the Polish Republic
