Jarvis Charles Landry is an American football wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League.
Education
Landry attended Lutcher High School in Lutcher, Louisiana, where he was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and track. He finished his career at Lutcher High School with 241 receptions 3902 yards 50 touchdowns and rushed for 875 yards and 14 Touchdowns.
Career
He was drafted by the Dolphins in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisiana State University for the Louisiana State University Tigers. As a senior he had 51 receptions for 716 yards and 11 touchdowns.
At the 2011 Under Armour All-America Game, he caught a record 8 receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown.
He was regarded as a five-star recruit according to Rivals.com and was ranked as the nation"s fourth best wide receiver. In track & field, he competed as a long jumper during his sophomore season, recording a personal-best leap of 6.07 meters (19 ft, 8 in) at the 2009 Saint Amant Duck Doost Relays, where he took 4th.
As a true freshman in 2011, Landry played in 14 games with one start. He finished the season with four receptions for 43 yards.
As a sophomore in 2012, he played in 13 games with one start.
He led the team with 56 receptions and five touchdowns and was second in receiving yards with 573. As a junior in 2013, he combined with Odell Beckham, Junior. to form one of the best wide receiver duos in college football. He was a second-team All-Southeastern Conference (Securities and Exchange Commission) selection.
He finished the season with 77 receptions for 1,193 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Landry was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round (63rd overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.
= 2014 NFL season Landry caught his first receiving touchdown as a professional against the Green Bay Packers on October 12, 2014. He finished the season with 84 catches for 758 yards and five touchdowns and set a Dolphins record for most receptions by a rookie.
He also added 1,158 yards in punt and kickoff returns.
= 2015 NFL Season In the season opener at Washington on September 13, 2015, Landry had his first return touchdown, returning a Tress Way punt 69 yards in 10 seconds, evading four tackles. Upon breaking O.J. McDuffie"s franchise record for most receptions in a season with 110, Landry was named Dolphins Company-Most Valuable Player alongside fellow Pro Bowler, strong safety Reshad Jones. He was named to the 2016 Pro Bowl as a replacement for the injured Antonio Brown.
Jarvis" older brother, Gerard, played wide receiver at Southern University in Baton Rouge.
