She is best known for her role as Madam Claudia Buenavista in the original version of Pangako Sa "Yo, Alvoina Montenegro in the remake of Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita?, a short-lived series which aired on Global Media Arts Network, and Karina "Rina" Mercado in the hit series The Half Sisters, which also aired on Global Media Arts Network She has two children. Jennica Garcia (actress) is one of them. Her most famous role was in the teleserye Pangako Sa "Yo (2000) where she played antagonist Madam Claudia Buenavista.
Her next landmark role is in the crittically-acclaimed Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay (2003) as Lady Morganna.
She also starred in the first musical fantaserye (fantasy/soap opera) Kampanerang Kuba, and the cooking show Makuha Ka Sa Tikim. She is recently in Global Media Arts-7"s newest telefantasya, Dyesebel.
