Series 3 first aired on BBC1 in July 2012. She then trained as an actress at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2007. Was briefly married to another actor in 2008 but the marriage only lasted a year.

In 2011 she portrayed Joan Malin in the television drama film Hattie. In 2013, she took the role of the headmistress, Emma, in Manitoba Down, the Channel 4 comedy series.
She plays the role of Detective Inspector Kate Gemmill in the 2015 British Broadcasting Corporation drama The Interceptor.
