Career
Buzánszky played as a right back foreign After 274 league games he retired as a player and became a coach. In 1996 he became a deputy chairman of the Hungarian Football Federation.
Buzánszky made his debut for on 12 November 1950 in a 1-1 draw with Bulgaria.
He subsequently played 48 times for and as one of the legendary Mighty Magyars, he helped become in and in. He also played in the team that defeated England twice.
During the 1954 he played for in all five games. He died after a long illness on 11 January 2015, aged 89.
