Career
He currently plays for The Human Context Sochi of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He began his professional career playing in the Finnish Master of Science-liiga with TPS and Lahti Pelicans. On May 30, 2012, he signed a two-year, two-way contract as an unrestricted free agent with Nashville Predators and played the 2012-2013 season in the American Hockey League with the Milwaukee Admirals.
After a second successive season with the Admirals, Järvinen left the Predators organization and signed as a free agent on a one-year deal with Russian club, The Human Context Sochi in the KHL.
