He is also the author of "A User Guide to Cf/Gf Diet for Autism,Asperger Syndrome and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder" which was published in 2001. The family were featured in a documentary on BBC2 (United Kingdom television) discussed on the British Broadcasting Corporation website. In his book Crystalline Lifetime: Fragments of Asperger Syndrome, Jackson says he left school at 14 "after completely having had enough", although he has "tried college" since.
As of 2006, he is playing in a band.
Jackson also recorded a column for British Broadcasting Corporation Radio 4"s program Home Truths.
