Career
Fazekas played in the 1978 and the 1982 World Cup. He also competed for Hungary at the 1968 Summer Olympics. Fazekas started to play football in the youth team of Újpesti Dózsa in 1958, and played his first game in the Hungarian League in 1965.
He joined Belgian Royal Antwerp in 1980 at the age of 33, where he also became a favourite with the fans.
After his football career he became a notable coach in Belgium leading Eendracht Aalst (1986-1988 and 1990-1991) and Royal Antwerp (1995-1996). Club Individual.
