He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League on February 10, 2012. He played college football at Florida State, Pearl River Community College, and Memphis. Toronto Argonauts

On February 17, 2014, Ball was released by the Argonauts.

Ball signed a three-year contract with the New Orleans Saints on April 2, 2014, but was released on May 4, 2015. Carolina Panthers

On September 5, 2015, he was released by the Panthers. He was re-signed to the practice squad on September 29.
Ball was accused of threatening New York Giants player Odell Beckham Junior. while holding a baseball bat on the field prior to the game on December 20, 2015.
