She has been Minister of Constitutional Reforms and Relations with Parliament since 22 February 2014. Boschi has a law degree from University of Florence, from which she graduated with a grade of 110/110 cum laude and became a lawyer specialising in business law. She was on the board of directors of Publiacqua, a public utility in Tuscany, until June 2013.
In 2011 she became an advisor to Matteo Renzi, at the time Mayor of Florence, coordinating his campaign for the 2012 centre-left primary election.
On 22 February 2014 she was named as Minister of Constitutional Reforms in the government of Matteo Renzi.
In 2008 Boschi joined the Democratic Party and was close to Michele Ventura, a candidate in the primary election for Mayor of Florence, a member of the political faction of Massimo Doctorate"Alema. At the Italian general election, 2013, Boschi was elected to the Italian Chamber of Deputies and is a member of the national executive of the Democratic Party.
