Marina Andreevna Pupenina, known under her pseudonym Marina Aleksandrova, is a Russian actress and model.

Career

She is perhaps the best known for her role of Marie of Hesse and by Rhine in Poor Nastya. Marina Andreevna Pupenina on 29 August 1982 in Hungarian town Kiskunmajsa. Her father Andrei Pupenin served in Soviet army, located in Hungary, and her mother worked as a professor at the Herzen University.

In 1986, the family moved to Lake Baikal, then to Tula, finally settling in Leningrad (Now Street St. Petersburg) in 1987.

In 1996 she joined the "Imagine" drama school, and after graduating from high school with specialism in Mathematics and Music (Harp Class) in 1996, joined the Shukin Theatre School under Vice-President Nikolaenko. From 2006 - 2011, Marina Aleksandrova was an actress for the "Sovremennik" (Contemporary) Theater Company in Moscow.
