Career

Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, she is best known for her portrayal in 1997 and 1998 of Theresa Halloran (aka "Number One", leader of the Mars Resistance) in the television series Babylon 5. Monaghan has performed in other science fiction roles, such as " Thorson" in the 1993 series Space Rangers, where reviewers remarked on her portrayal of as a "low-voiced feminist blond bombshell", and the "Heroes and Demons" episode of Star Trek: Voyager. She was considered for the role of T"Political in Star Trek: Enterprise.

Monaghan starred as in the 1999 series Rescue 77, where a reviewer said her "tough, thoughtul performance" was the only saving grace of a "generic action series".
