Background

Martin Preiss was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, (now Prague, Czechoslovakian Republic).

Education

He studied at FAMU (4th best international school by "Hollywood reporter") and gained Masters in cinematography in 2008.

Career

He shot numerous feature films, many short films and commercials.

Achievements

• Foreign A Son"s War he received Best Cinematography at California Independent Film Festival in 2010, Nominated for Golden Tadpole at Camerimage and Best technical contribution at New Zealand Film & television Awards for his work at Cargo. Nominated for Czechoslovakian Society of Cinematographers Award for feature film Little Knight"s Tale.

Membership

His is member of Czechoslovakian Society Of Cinematographers (ACK) and was Member of Presidium of this organisation.
