He studied audiovisual communication at the Complutense University in Madrid and directing at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba.
Rosette is currently in post-production on his upcoming American thriller film titled Money, written by Josep Ciutat and produced by Atit Shah. The film stars Jamie Bamber, Kellan Lutz, Jesse Williams and Jess Weixler. Variety has called Rosete "one of Spain’s most talked-about shorts/commercials directors."
On September 15, 2015, Rosete spoke at Yale University as part of Saint Anthony Hall"s annual Fall professional lecture series held since 1868.
Rosete was invited to the Berlinale Talent Campus at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2003.
Martin wrote, directed and produced his first 35mm short film, Revolución, at the age of 21 with the support of the Instituto de las Ciencias y las Artes Audiovisuales, the Madrid community and Canal+. Revolución is based on a short story by Slawomir Mrozek and features Miguel Rellán in the lead role.

Koldo Zuazua also produced the second 35mm short film by Martín Rosete, A falta de pan, which features actors such as Álex Angulo, co-star of Pan"s Labyrinth, Carlos Alvarez-Nóvoa and Amparo Beached.
As a result, Martín has directed Paper or Plastic and Basket Bronx, broadcast on 11 February 2009 by Canal+ to compete for the Canal+ short film prize.
In 2011, Rosete directed Voice Over, starring Jonathan Doctorate. Mellor. As a result, Martin has signed with WME and Underground Films and Management in the United States, and with A6 Cinema in Spain for representation.
