Mary Dinorah Gilchrist was a Scottish female chess player.
Achievements
She won twice British Chess Championship in 1929 and 1934. She took third place at Folkestone 1933 (the 4th Women"s World Chess Championship, and tied for 8-9th at Stockholm 1937 (the 6th WWCC), both won by Vera Menchik.
