José Couto is a breaststroke swimmer from Portugal, who represented his home country at the 1996 Summer Olympics, the 2000 Summer Olympics and at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
Achievements
He won two medals a(a silver and a bronze one) at the 1999 European Short Course Championships that occurred in Lisbon (his homeground) and one (silver) at the 2002 FINA World Swimming Championships in Moscow. He also won a gold medal, a silver medal and a bronze medal in World Cups.
