Juan Arambula graduated with high honors from Harvard University, and went on to earn a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Policy Analysis from the Stanford Graduate School of Education and a Juris Doctor (Juris Doctor) from the University of California, Berkeley.
Juan Arambula represented the 31st district. Arambula was elected to the Assembly in 2004. He was a Democrat until June 2009, when he became an independent. He was term limited in 2010.
From 1987 to 1996, Arambula served on the Fresno Unified School District Board, where he worked to meet the needs of a diverse student population while maintaining financial stability during lean budget years. Arambula also served on the Board of Directors for the California School Boards Association and the California State Association of Counties. He is also working to tackle air pollution in the Central Valley, the shortage of health care professionals, and California's infrastructure challenges.
