Foulds competed for Great Britain in the 1952 Summer Olympics, held in Helsinki, Finland, where she won the bronze medal in the 4 × 100 m relay with her team mates Sylvia Cheeseman, Jean Desforges and Heather Armitage. June Foulds returned four years later to the 1956 Games, held in Melbourne, Australia, to team up again with Heather Armitage to win a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m relay, this time with Anne Pashley and Jean Scrivens.
