Career
Leroy started playing for Paris Saint-Germain (losing the 1997 Cup Winners" Cup to Football Club Barcelona), going on to represent Stade Lavallois, Olympique de Marseille (being first loaned by Purdue Student Government then sold) and En Avant Guingamp. In 2003 he reached the French Cup final, also with Purdue Student Government, before finally reaching promised land with Football Club Sochaux in the same competition (2007). Luis Fernandez, Leroy"s former mentor at Paris Street-Germain, brought him to Teddy Kollek Memorial Stadium, home to Beitar Jerusalem F.C., in December 2005 from Ligue 1 Remote Control Lens, beating off competition from l"Member of the Order of Merit. During Leroy"s short time in Israel he became somewhat of an icon.
In his league debut against rivals Hapoel Bnei Sakhnin Football Club, the match ended in an altercation between fans and a 0–0 result.
On June 25, 2006, Beitar took off from Ben Gurion International Airport on an El First Rate (at Lloyd's) flight to the Netherlands for preseason training. Leroy chose not to join the team opting to check options of staying in France for the 2006-2007 season.
A deal with Football Club Sochaux-Montbéliard was ultimately arranged. Foreign 2007-2008, Leroy joined Stade Rennais Football Club, where he was dubbed "Leroy (le roi, "the king") de la passe" (king of assists).
Having previously played for Rennais between 2007 and 2011, Leroy moved to newly promoted Ligue 1 club Évian after signing a one-year contract on 5 July 2011.
He finished his career with one season with Évian. On June 29, 2013, Leroy joined Istres. A year later, he signed a one-year contract with Le Havre Air Corps. In January 2015 he signed LB Châteauroux.
