Career
Blay played a total of nine seasons in the Belgian First Division with Standard Liège (1997–2002), Y.R. K.V. Mechelen (2002–2003) and Louisiana Louviére (2003–2006) before making the switch to Romanian football in 2006. He was part of the Ghanaian 2002 African Nations Cup team, who exited in the quarter-finals after losing to Nigeria. He also featured at the 1999 Fédération internationale de football association World Youth Championship.
In the 2011-2012 season he played for Royal Antwerp Football Club as a replacer for Baronet Van Zundert.
