In 1527 the Moghul conqueror Babur invited Hondamir to India, where he lived and died. Following the same pattern, in 1521 Hondamir composed for Ali-Shir Navai a three-volume general history entitled "", and brought it to his time. Another notable work was "First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Destour Voser".
