Hatton was the first United States - American who was invited to the " International Keirin Series " to Japan. He started there in the years 1984 to 1991. Along to this he continues racing in the masters classe.
2003 Gil Hatton was added into the Hall of Fame of the Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Trexlertown.
1976 and 1977 Gibby Hatton was American vice - champion in the sprint. Since the end of his own career in 1992 is Hatton also worked as coach.
