He played Guard/Forward. Prior to the Bachelor of Applied Arts/National Basketball Association he played at the University of Wisconsin. He also played for the Michigan Wolverines men"s basketball team during the 1945-1946 season and was the team"s leading scorer with 213 points.
He was selected as the most valuable player in the Big Nine Conference during the 1946-1947 season.He played for the Fond du Lac Rockets during the 1949-1950 season.
He later worked as a math teacher and basketball coach with public schools in Littleton, Colorado. He died in May 1994 at Sun City West, Arizona, at age 69.
