Career
Born in Denver, Colorado, he made his Broadway debut in 1942 opposite Luise Rainer in a revival of J.M. Barrie"s A Kiss for Cinderella. He made his credited film debut in The Return of Doctor X (1939). Appeared as a French professor in the romantic, a devoted young doctor protecting Gene Tierney from the evil machinations of Vincent Price in, and as one of the psychiatrists looking after demented patient Olivia de Havilland in the The Snake Pit (1948).
Langan was also gainfully employed in escapist adventure, essaying a square-jawed privateer captain in.
His popularity waned by the early 1950s. After winding down his screen career in the 1960s, Langan re-invented himself as a successful real estate salesman.
