He is now a football manager, holding the job of head manager at RNK Split, his second spell with the club as manager. He signed a four-year contract with on August 12, 2002. After many injury problems, he agreed to go on a loan to reach his previous form.
On July 30, 2007, agreed to loan Goran to his former club for one year.
In 2008 he returned to Dynamo and in 2010 he left the club In May 2013 he became the manager of RNK Split but after 3 matches he was sacked.
