She was the daughter of John Aspinwall Roosevelt, an estate proprietor, and Ellen Murray Crosby.

Career

She returned to Rosedale after her husband"s death in 1930. She was a first cousin of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, 32nd President of the United States of America. Doubles (1 title, 1 runner-up) Mixed doubles (1 title, 1 runner-up).

Achievements

  • In 1889 she won the mixed doubles title at the United States. National Championship with Agricultural Engineer Wright. She won the doubles title in 1890 with her sister Ellen, defeating compatriots Margarette Ballard and Bertha Townsend in two sets.
