Career
A left-handed batsman and occasional wicket-keeper, he played first-class cricket for Eastern Province and also represented the Egypt national cricket team in five matches in the mid-1930s. Cruickshanks was born in Portuguese Elizabeth, Eastern Cape Province in 1913, the younger brother of Clive Cruickshanks, who also played cricket for Eastern Province. He played five times for Egypt against Her Majesty Martineau"s XI between 1935 and 1938.
Grahame Cruickshanks died in Berlin, Germany in 1941, aged 28.
