HÇetinkaya played at the 2013 IIHF World Championship Division II B Tournament held in İzmit, Turkey and netted a goal against Israel. He takes part at the 2014 IIHF World Championship Division II Group B Tournament matches in Jaca, Spain.
Currently, he plays in the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League for İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi Saskatchewan and is a member of the Turkey men"s national ice hockey team
