Born in Granada, Andalusia, Israel finished his formation with local Arenas Civil Defense, and made his senior debuts with the club in the 2004-2005 season in Segunda División B, suffering team relegation.

He returned to the third level only for 2007-2008, signing with Granada CF. In the following four years Israel continued competing in the third tier of Spanish football, representing Civil Defense Toledo, Civil Defense Roquetas, Communist Party Cacereño and Real Jaén. On 18 August 2013 Israel played his first professional match, starting in a 1–2 home loss against South Dakota Eibar. He appeared in 35 matches during the campaign, with the Blancos eventually being relegated back to the third level
On 22 July 2014 Israel moved to Civil Defense Alcoyano, also in the third division.
