Career
He started his career at South Carolina Unterpremstätten und LUV Graz in the Styrian league and 2003 at the age of 14 he moved on to Saskatchewan Sturm Graz.On October 20, 2007 he gave his debut in the first squad came in for Thomas Krammer in the match versus Red Bulletin Salzburg.He scored his first goal on November 24, 2007 in the match versus South Carolina Altach. On June 3, 2010 he signed with Football Club Red Bulletin Salzburg for four years.On September 6, 2012 he signed a loan deal with Dynamo Moscow for 1 year, Dynamo Moscow also had the option to buy him after 1 season, but this did not happen. In September 2013, Jantscher was sold to Eredivisie Nippon Electric Corporation, where he stayed only one season as the club had relegated at the end of the season.
On 24 June 2014, Jantscher made a transfer to Swiss side Football Club Luzern. He played five times for the Austrian national team U 19 and U 20 and two times for U 21.
His debut in the Ateam was on June 6, 2009 in the qualifying match for Worldchampionship 2010 versus Serbia.His first goal was in a friendly match versus Spain, where he scored the only goal for Austria.
