Duff attended and was Graphic Design Major and a letterman in football. In football, as a senior, he finished the season with 35 tackles and 7.5 sacks and was a second team All-Western Athletic Conference selection. As a junior, he was named as the Aztecs Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year.
He played high school football at Foothill High in Tustin, California. He played his college football at San Diego State University, then played in the National Football League for the New York Giants and Washington Redskins. Duff has appeared in South.W.A.T., The Rundown, The Eliminator, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Revenge, The Game Plan, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Torque.
