Career
He was a minor league player, playing primarily in North American leagues such as the ECHL, American Hockey League (AHL) and International Hockey League (IHL). Eberle played junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Regina Pats for three seasons. He also had a brief stint with the Moose Jaw Warriors.
He turned professional in 1993 with the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL. He played between North American minor leagues for seven years until moving to the United Kingdom to play overseas for the Ayr Scottish Eagles.
He returned to the ECHL in 2001-2002 to play for the Pensacola Ice Pilots and subsequently retired. Eberle also had a brief stint as a professional roller hockey player with the New Jersey Rockin" Rollers of Roller Hockey International (RHI) in 1996.
